Two men push 60-year-old woman to ground in attempted robbery

Police in Day City are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred last week.

On June 15 at 9:29 p.m., officers with the Daly City Police Department responded to the 200 block of Evergreen Avenue on a report of a woman pushed to the ground by two men.

The 60-year-old victim told police she was walking home with two pizzas when two men standing on the corner approached her from behind and grabbed her purse.

The victim struggled with the suspects, fell to the ground and cut her knees and left hand.

She started yelling for help, and the suspects ultimately fled the area.

The suspects are described as 18 to 20 years old and were between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall.

One suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and light colored shorts, and the other was wearing a black sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
