Guerneville man identified as motorcyclist killed in Golden Gate Park collision

A motorcyclist who died in a collision in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Thursday afternoon has been identified by the city medical examiner’s office as 53-year-old Guerneville resident Timothy Cramer.

Officers responded around 4:40 p.m. Thursday to the two-vehicle collision in the area of Crossover Drive and 25th Avenue and arrived to find Cramer in the roadway. He was taken to a hospital and later died, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
