Elderly Santa Rosa man still missing after two days

Santa Rosa police said Wednesday morning an 82-year-old man has now been missing for two days.

Leonard “Jim” Manwaring went for a walk around 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Oakmont area of Santa Rosa toward Kenwood. Due to mobility issues, police said they believe he is not far from home.

Police are asking people in the Oakmont area to look in their backyards, garages or other outbuildings where Manwaring might have sought shelter.

Manwaring is 6 feet 3 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a white bucket “Gilligan” hat, white T-shirt, a down jacket and jeans.
