Major medical emergency shuts down BART Bay Fair station

BART’s Bay Fair station in San Leandro is closed Tuesday morning because of a “major medical emergency,” the transit agency said.

BART issued an advisory at 10:04 a.m. but did not provide any other details about what prompted the station closure or the condition of the person.

According to BART AC Transit is providing mutual aid.
