Covid-19 update, Bay Area under shelter in photos

Weekends, and Sundays especially, are data deserts in the Covid-19 era. Instead of trying to dig up relevant news, we decided to give you the best information we have available and to tell the story tonight in a more visual kind of way.

Some staff and friends of staff shared their photos of neighborhoods under shelter orders. Here’s some of the Bay Area life “in quarantine.” 

U.S.

Alameda County

  • Confirmed Cases: 1,468
  • Deaths: 52

Alameda County Superior Court announced a rules change that allows for a wider range of document filings to be submitted by drop box, fax and mail. An updated list of what’s acceptable in those submittal formats can be accessed at https://bit.ly/2VWu4Qg. The expansion is an effort to keep court functions moving amid the pandemic-related public court closures.

Contra Costa County

  • Confirmed Cases: 817
  • Deaths: 25
