County alliance group offers $2,500 for tip leading to arrest in Santa Rosa hotel shooting

Santa Rosa police are investigating a late Sunday night shooting near a hotel that left a man with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The shooting was reported near the Best Western Plus Wine Country Inn and Suites at 870 Hopper Ave. just before 11:20 p.m., police said. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to his foot on hotel property. The victim, only described as a man in his 40s, was transported to a hospital.

A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect by the Take Back Our Community Program. No suspects were identified by police and the investigation is ongoing.
