One man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting in East Oakland on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers who responded to the shooting in the 2300 block of Foothill Boulevard just before 4 p.m. Wednesday found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A short time later, a second male victim with gunshot wounds walked into Highland Hospital in Oakland and currently is listed in stable condition, police said.
The name of the man who was fatally shot is being withheld until his next of kin are notified.
