Highlight of Santa Clara County, Calif.
Santa Clara County announced its fifth death from the novel coronavirus Tuesday.
The victim was an adult man in his 50s who was hospitalized on March 9 and died Tuesday this week, the county said.
The county also upped its confirmed infected count to 155 Tuesday, adding 17 cases from the day before.
Additionally, 56 people are hospitalized, with 70 cases presumed transmitted through community spread and 18 associated with international travel.
