A 34-year-old man was stabbed in San Francisco’s Sue Bierman Park on Wednesday morning, police said.
The stabbing was reported around 11:30 a.m. at the park just north of the Ferry Building along the Embarcadero.
The victim got into an altercation with another man, who stabbed him and then fled, according to police. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Police have not released any detailed description of the suspect. Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
