An Alameda County judge said Monday, December 23, 2019 that evidence exists that John Lee Cowell, suspected of fatally stabbing Nia Wilson on a BART train July 22, 2018, is "malingering" in his mental incompetence claims.
UPDATE, 4:53 p.m.: John Lee Cowell has been found guilty of first-degree murder with the special circumstance of lying in wait for the stabbing murder of Nia Wilson. The jury also convicted Cowell of attempted murder for the stabbing of Letifah Wilson.
A verdict has been reached in the case against John Lee Cowell who allegedly stabbed Nia Wilson to death on the platform of the MacArthur BART station in Oakland in 2018.
