The Diridon Caltrain station in San Jose has reopened Tuesday morning after being closed for about two hours because of a bomb threat, according to the transit agency.
The shutdown began at 5:47 a.m. following the threat, which brought a bomb squad to investigate at the station at 65 Cahill St.
Northbound Caltrains coming from the agency’s maintenance facility in San Jose were bypassing Diridon station during the shutdown and starting service at the Santa Clara station.
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority and Amtrak trains using the station were also affected.
Caltrain wrote on Twitter as of about 7:50 a.m. that police have cleared the station for use again.
