Medical examiner identifies 24-year-old victim in Tully Road fatal crash

The victim of a Feb. 7 fatal crash was a 24-year-old San Jose man, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.

Jesse Garcia died in the solo crash at about 4:23 p.m. on Tully Road just east of Quimby Road.

Police reported Garcia lost control while driving a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria. He was pronounced dead at the scene after hitting a tree in the center of the road.

There were no other passengers in Garcia’s vehicle.

The wreck is San Jose’s third fatal crash this year.
