Exhibit explores the ‘man and the myth’ of Jack London

An exhibit highlighting the life of writer Jack London will be on display through mid-March at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, university officials said.

A reception for the exhibit titled The Man and the Myth: Exploring Jack London Through the SSU Library Special Collections will take place in the library art gallery from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Artifacts in the library’s collections tell the story of London, a novelist and short-story writer who may be best known for “The Call of the Wild” and “White Fang.”

London was raised in Oakland, which has named a square after him.
