A Santa Rosa man suffered major injuries Thursday morning when his vehicle crashed into a brick wall at the Santa Rosa Plaza, police said.
Dennis Beach, 72, was driving west in the eastbound lane of 5th Street at 7:45 a.m. when he hit a parked car and continued driving west through the Mendocino Avenue intersection and hit a wall near the B Street intersection, police said.
Beach was taken to a hospital, and it’s unknown if he suffered a medical emergency before the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.
