A man was seriously injured in a shooting early Thursday morning, according to police.
The shooting was reported at about 1:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Leigh Avenue, approximately less than a mile south of San Jose City College, according to Officer Gina Tepoorten. Officers arrived to find the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The man was transported to a hospital with injuries considered life-threatening.
There are currently no suspects. The shooting is under investigation.
