Tamalpais High School remains locked down for police action

Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley is locked down Monday afternoon because of police action involving criminals in the area, police said.

All students are safe, but residents within a half-mile of the school at 700 Miller Ave. should shelter in place, police said.

Mill Valley police issued an alert about the police action and school lockdown at 2:33 p.m. and said at 3:51 p.m. that law enforcement is still present and the lockdown remains in effect.
