One eastbound lane along San Antonio Road in Palo Alto has reopened but the second eastbound lane remains closed for detectives investigating a shooting that hospitalized a man early Tuesday.
The victim was hit once by gunfire in the abdomen and is in intensive care, Palo Alto police said.
The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. in the 700 block of San Antonio Road. The eastbound lanes were initially blocked, but one lane reopened about 7:20 a.m., police said.
Police have not arrested any suspects in the shooting.
