UC Berkeley will welcome 1,000 more students from California in the fall as part of a system-wide effort to admit more state residents.
The University of California at Berkeley campus is experiencing a power outage Thursday morning, UC police said.
UC Berkeley police wrote on Twitter at 7:28 a.m. about the outage, saying it may be affecting card key entrances and computer networking.
Students and staff are asked to contact their building coordinator for more information about the outage.
