Police serve arrest warrants across Oakland in ‘criminal investigation’

Oakland police announced via a Nixle alert early Tuesday morning that they served criminal arrest warrants across the city in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Police didn’t specify the investigation the arrests are tied to, or if a certain part of the city is more affected than others.

An Oakland police officer declined to provide additional information and a police spokesperson hadn’t responded to a request for comment as of 6:15 a.m.
