Tree falls across Panoramic Highway, lanes closed

A fallen tree closed all lanes of the Panoramic Highway between Stinson Beach and Pan Toll Road early Thursday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.

The downed tree just west of Pan Toll Road was reported around 12:10 p.m. Firefighters were called out to cut up the tree with chain saws.

CHP officials estimated the road would be closed until 6:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.
