A pedestrian was killed by a SamTrans bus Thursday morning, leading to the closure of the Redwood City Transit Center.
At about 8:45 a.m., the pedestrian was struck by the bus on James Avenue near El Camino Real, SamTrans spokesman Dan Lieberman said.
The transit center was closed while SamTrans police investigated the incident, Lieberman said.
No additional information was immediately available.
