Antioch dispute escalates to shooting, victim stable

A 20-year-old man is in stable condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a dispute Monday morning at the Williamson Ranch Plaza parking lot in Antioch, police said.

Officers responded to the 4800 block of Lone Tree Way around 10:20 a.m. and found the victim, who was transported to a hospital.

Investigators say that prior to the shooting, the victim had been involved in a dispute. The suspect fled after the shooting and remains at large.

Police say the shooting remains under investigation as of Monday afternoon and they are following up on leads.
