Three stabbing victims say suspect, location of assault unknown

Police in Santa Rosa are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Saturday morning and sent three people to the hospital.

Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department responded Saturday at 2:26 a.m. to Mendocino Avenue and Bicentennial Parkway on a report of a stabbing.

A victim called police and reported an unknown suspect had just stabbed him.

Responding officers located the victim, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds, and the victim was transported to the hospital.

The victim told police he did not know who had stabbed him and did not know where the stabbing took place.

While still at the scene with the victim, police were notified two other stabbing victims had walked into the emergency room of an area hospital.

Those victims also told investigators they did not know who had attacked them or where the incident occurred, police said.

The victims were all Hispanic men in their 20s.

As of Saturday morning, two of the victims were reported to be in stable condition, and the third victim was reported to be in guarded condition, police said.

None of the victims’ injuries were considered life threatening.
