‘Trespasser incident’ halts Capitol Corridor service near Hayward

A Capitol Corridor train collided with a vehicle in Albany, Calif. Tuesday, August 20, 2019. The driver of the vehicle was killed but no injuries were reported aboard the train.

Capitol Corridor service is stopped east of the Hayward station Thursday afternoon because of a “trespasser incident,” the agency said.

The transit agency wrote on Twitter at 2:35 p.m. about the incident. No other details were immediately available.
