Crews battle wildfire between Stinson and Muir beaches

A wildfire is burning between Stinson and Muir beaches in Marin County on Thursday morning, according to the county fire department.

The fire was reported at about 10:45 a.m. near Slide Ranch and had burned 4-5 acres as of shortly after 11 a.m. as it moves toward the ocean, the Marin County Fire Department wrote on Twitter. Air assistance arrived around 11:30 a.m. and dropped retardant on the flames.

No structures are threatened by the blaze, but motorists should expect delays in the area, according to the fire department.
