A 35-year-old transient from Hayward was arrested Sunday morning after he allegedly was urinating outside of a Safeway store in front of several store customers, Fremont police said.
The man, Daryl Pendelton, was arrested at about 7:38 a.m. Sunday outside the Safeway store in the Hub shopping center, at Mowry Avenue and Argonaut Way, said Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques. Officers found him with his pants around his ankles, Bosques said.
Pendelton was arrested on suspicion of creating a public nuisance, and on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with requirements of being a registered sex offender, and taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
