3.6 magnitude earthquake hits off Colma coast

A 3.6 earthquake struck off the coast just south of San Francisco on Saturday morning.

The quake hit at 8:41 a.m. at a depth of 4 miles, west of Colma, according to the United States Geological Survey.

A magnitude 1.9 earthquake hit in the same area at 8:47 a.m. with a 2.0 magnitude following at 8:48 a.m., as reported by USGS.

No damage has been reported.
