Police arrest suspect with items stolen from students at Hall of Justice field trip

San Francisco police announced Tuesday the arrest of a suspect believed to be involved in an auto burglary near the Hall of Justice.

Police officials said on Sept. 23 at around 10:18 a.m., officers on bike patrol in the area of Russ and Natoma streets observed a person sitting on the sidewalk with several bags and obstructing right-of-way traffic.

Officers identified the suspect as 32-year-old Jessica Didia of San Francisco through a computer search and discovered that she was currently on probation.

Officers searched the bags and found several items marked with two different names and the name of a school.
