A structure fire in near the Schellville area of Sonoma County spread to brush nearby Saturday evening and has burned approximately 15 acres, according to fire officials.
The fire was reported at about 4 p.m. Saturday near the 23000 block of Highway 121 (Arnold Drive) west of Schellville, near the junction of Highway 116 and 121.
At 5:18 p.m., Sonoma County sheriffs issued a mandatory evacuation within a 1-mile radius of Highway 116 and Highway 121 and are warning all residents in the 2-mile radius.
Officials say the fire has reached a three-alarm status due to dry and gusty conditions.
