More than 22,000 San Francisco PG&E customers without power

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is reporting a power outage that is affecting 22,424 customers and traffic signals in south eastern San Francisco Friday morning. The outage was first reported at 7:57 a.m.

The latest update from PG&E at 8:40 a.m. estimated another two hours before service is restored. The cause of the outage is under investigation.

The power company is advising people to use extra caution and to treat traffic lights as four-way stops.
