Berkeley road closes due to water main break

A water main break has prompted a road closure in Berkeley on Wednesday morning, according to police.

Police issued an advisory at 8:07 a.m. about the water main break that has closed the 1900 block of El Dorado Avenue off of The Alameda. East Bay Municipal Utility District crews are en route to repair the water main, police said. People are advised to use an alternate route to get around the area.
