Occupants refuse to exit vehicle in standoff with CHP

A standoff following a vehicle pursuit Sunday morning in Sonoma County has closed U.S. Highway 101 in both directions between River Road and Airport Boulevard, the Santa Rosa office of the California Highway Patrol said.

The agency said on its Twitter account at 7:38 a.m:

“Occupants of the pursued vehicle are refusing to exit the vehicle and a standoff continues.”
