BART experiences major delay separate from earlier Bay Fair collision

A major delay exists on BART Wednesday evening because of an equipment problem on a train, BART officials said.

As of 5:52 p.m., the delay was on the San Francisco line in the Dublin/Pleasanton direction.

Earlier Wednesday, a person was struck by a BART train at Bay Fair station in San Leandro.
