Vallejo residents urged to conserve water after pump failure

Vallejo city officials said Saturday evening that a water pump providing potable water to the Green Valley area of the city has malfunctioned, and residents are advised to limit their water usage until further notice.

There is still some water being pumped, though not at a sustainable pace, and crews have transported water to the Rockville Pump Station via truck as a temporary measure while repairs take place.
