Police search for two Candlestick Point shooting suspects

A 22-year-old man suffered injuries to his arm and leg in a shooting near Candlestick Point in San Francisco Wednesday evening, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 6:47 p.m. in the 900 block of Donner Avenue off of Hunters Point Expressway.

Two suspects approached the victim in a dark SUV and one of them fired several shots at him, striking him in the right forearm and right leg, police said.

The suspects, described as men in their late teens to 20s, drove away in the vehicle and remain at large, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
