BART reports 10-minute MacArthur station delay

BART is reporting delays because of a train that had equipment problems at the MacArthur station in Oakland Tuesday morning. The transit agency initially reported the problem at 10:16 a.m. and said trains were being delayed in the Antioch, Warm Springs, Richmond and Millbrae directions.

The train was removed from service and other trains were using a single track through the MacArthur station while inspectors investigated the scene. BART officials said the system is recovering but still experiencing a 10-minute delay as of 11:09 a.m.
