Police utilized a BearCat, a wheeled armored personnel carrier, and another armored SUV to the scene to help deal with a barricaded suspect, who officers were later able to detain.

At 6:45 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of High Street on a report of a domestic battery incident.

Police received information the suspect had stabbed a neighbor and fled into a residence.

Officers utilized the BearCat to make announcements, and the suspect eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody. At 7:16 p.m., officers were in the area of 69th Avenue when they heard gunshots and observed a vehicle fleeing the area.

The driver of the vehicle then parked and fled into nearby yards. Police utilized the BearCat and an armored SUV as they set up a perimeter and conducted the search for the individual.
