Five community centers in San Jose will have extended hours Sunday for residents seeking to cool off during a heat advisory that warns temperatures could reach 100 degrees, the city announced.
Facilities open until 9 p.m. are the Mayfair Community Center, 2039 Kammerer Ave.; Roosevelt Community Center, 901 East Santa Clara St.; Camden Community Center, 3369 Union Ave.; Cypress Community Center, 403 Cypress Ave.; and Seven Trees Community Center, 3590 Cas Drive.
