Helicopter lands upside down in Hayward, injuring two on board

Two people were seriously injured when a helicopter crashed Monday afternoon at the Hayward Executive Airport, according to the Hayward Fire Department.

Two people were inside the helicopter at the time of the crash. Both were transported to a hospital.

The helicopter landed upside-down, according to the department. No other details were available as of 3 p.m. Monday.
