At-risk Fremont man, 90, missing since Sunday

A man went missing Sunday morning after leaving his home in a vehicle without a cell phone, according to the Fremont Police Department. George Lopes, 90, was last seen leaving his home in a light blue 2002 Saturn in the 700 block of Old Canyon Road around 7 a.m. His possible destination may have been the Milpitas area.

Lopes is 5 feet 9 inches and 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing last seen wearing a short sleeve shirt, light blue jacket and black jeans at the time of his disappearance.

Police said Lopes is at risk due to a medical condition. Call Fremont police at (510) 790-6800 with any information, or dial 911 in an emergency.
