The 10th annual North Richmond Music Festival is bringing live performances, pony rides and face painting to the historic Shields-Reid Park later this month.
Headliner Lucky Lloyd will be joined by Lee Ashford, Tommy Nunnlley, Mike Skinner and the Final Touch Band. There will also be family-friendly attractions for kids, according to the office of Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia.
The festival is sponsored by the city of Richmond, Chevron, Sims Metal, Mechanics Banks and Men and Women of VALOR. More information about that community organization is available at http://menwomenvalor.comcastbiz.net/.
Organizers say vendor booths are also still available. For more information about that, people can call (510) 908-3088.
The North Richmond Music Schedule is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 20 at Shields-Reid Park at 1410 Kelsey St. in North Richmond.
