Suspect at large after knifepoint gas station robbery

An armed man robbed a gas station in Santa Rosa on Monday night, police said.

The suspect knocked on the door of a kiosk at the Shell gas station at 266 College Ave. around 10:30 p.m., Sgt. Justin Farrington said. The gas station employee opened the door and the suspect demanded cash from the register at knifepoint.

The suspect was described as a man in his 40s with a thin build. His face was partially covered by the hood of his sweatshirt, Farrington said.
