Burglars smash into Walgreens with stolen car, steal ATM

Burglars used a stolen car to smash the front doors of a Walgreens pharmacy in San Mateo early Wednesday and then stole an ATM inside, according to police.

Officers responded at 3:52 a.m. to a burglary alarm set off at the Walgreens at 191 E. Third Ave. and arrived to find the vehicle and ATM nearby, police said.

No arrest has been made in the case and police have not released any suspect information.
