A person has been taken to a burn center after a fire at a motel in Fremont on Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
The fire was reported around 6 a.m. at the Motel 6 at 34047 Fremont Blvd. just east of Interstate Highway 880.
A male victim was found down inside a room at the motel and was taken to the hospital. An update on his condition was not immediately available.
The fire has been contained and its cause is under investigation, according to the fire department.
