Fire crews extinguished a blaze that burned about 3 acres of grass and brush near Oakley on Sunday night, according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
Firefighters responded at about 8 p.m. to the fire reported in the 3000 block of Dutch Slough Road and reported flames in heavy brush in a flat area with no structures threatened.
Crews extinguished the fire with no injuries reported.
Investigators were not immediately able to determine the cause of the fire Sunday night.
