Some residents on East 14th Street in San Leandro were evacuated Friday night as firefighters worked to extinguish a three-alarm fire, Alameda County Fire Department officials said.
As of 9:46 p.m., firefighters were battling the blaze at 20 Georgia Way. Residents of Georgia Way and East 14th Street were evacuated. East 14th Street was closed between Broadmoor Boulevard and Davis Street.
