Oakland officers discover female victim with gunshot wounds

A female victim was shot in East Oakland on Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded at 1:31 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of 92nd Avenue.

Officers responded and found the victim with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital and police did not provide an update on her condition.

No other information about the case was immediately released.
