More than 7,000 Oakland, Berkeley residents without power

Pacific Gas and Electric is working to restore power Tuesday evening to about 7,300 customers in Berkeley and Oakland, PG&E officials said.

The outage started just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. Crews are working to determine the cause and estimate when power will be restored.
