Wildfire burns 15 acres of federal land in Concord

Firefighters are battling a blaze that has burned about 15 acres near Willow Pass Road in Concord on Monday morning, according to Cal Fire. The Willow Fire was initially reported by Cal Fire on Twitter at about 10:50 a.m. and is burning in the area of Willow Pass Road south of state Highway 4.

Crews with Cal Fire, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and federal firefighters are working to put out the flames.
