Richmond city officials are inviting the public to come out Monday and see their final design for a neighborhood park nestled between a residential area and the train tracks along Carlson Boulevard. Boorman Park, at the intersection of Maine Avenue and South 27th Street, currently features playground equipment and a winding sidewalk through a small grassy area.
Richmond residents and park users are invited to bring their families for a walking tour of the park so they can see where new recreational features will be installed and share input on the city’s plans. Dinner, child care and language interpretation services will be provided.
Monday’s meeting starts at 5:45 p.m. at the park just north of the corner of South 25th Street and Maine Avenue.
Anyone planning to attend is asked to call (925) 771-7320 or RSVP online at https://bit.ly/2WIIzcG.
